Kathrin Resetarits
Kathrin Resetarits (born June 13, 1973 in Vienna ) is an Austrian director , actress , writer and dramaturge.
biography
The daughter of cabaret artist Lukas Resetarits grew up in Bisamberg near Vienna. She attended theater studies , philosophy and journalism in Vienna and completed a degree in directing with Wolfgang Glück at the Vienna Film Academy .
In 1998 she received the Diagonale Film Festival's Prize for Innovative Cinema and a Golden Spire Award for her film Egypt (1997) . Resetarits is also committed to female filmmakers in Austrian film and is a board member of the FC Gloria Frauen - Vernetzung - Film association .
From Ich tanze nicht (1999) to the 70s (2017), she co-wrote her father's programs. She has been Michael Haneke's artistic assistant since 2001 . Since 2011 she has been teaching book and dramaturgy at the Vienna Film Academy, among others.
