King Kong - Frankenstein's son ( Japanese キ ン グ コ ン グ の 逆襲 , Kingu Kongu no gyakushū , German "King Kong's counterattack") is a Japanese Kaiju film by the director Ishirō Honda . The film was produced by the Tōhō studio, which is best known for the films in the Godzilla series.

A mad scientist named Dr. Who ( フ ー , Fū ) tries to break down the fictitious, highly radioactive element X that occurs in the Arctic . Since his robot Mechani-Kong, which looks like Frankenstein's son King Kong , cannot do this, he kidnaps Kong and some people who were previously in contact with Kong (including Susan, who was previously kidnapped by him). However, they all escape after a short time and go to Tokyo with the son of Frankenstein. Dr. Who also his robot. King Kong and the robot then fight at the Tokyo Tower .

- King Kong is a monkey-like colossus of epic proportions. Kong has the ability to empower himself through electricity. He is also very vulnerable and easily irritable. Also worth mentioning is King Kong's tremendous power.
- Mechani-Kong is a monumental version of the latest technology developed by Dr. Who was constructed to mine the radioactive "Element X" in the Arctic. He was later set on by him on King Kong, with whom he led the final battle at the Tokyo Tower . Mechani-Kong, however, lost the duel and was destroyed by his opponent.
- Gorosaurus is a mutated Tyrannosaurus Rex who leads a brief duel against King Kong on the island, in which he is quickly destroyed. Gorosaurus was later seen in the Godzilla film Frankenstein and the Monsters from Space .
