Klaus König (born January 21, 1935 in Berlin ) is a German cameraman and director .

Life

König had first received a commercial training and then studied sociology before he came to film. As early as 1954, he acted as assistant director for the film Beloved Miss Doctor . He learned his trade as an assistant to experienced cameramen such as Günther Rittau , Göran Strindberg and Heinz Hölscher .
