Klaus König (cameraman)
Klaus König (born January 21, 1935 in Berlin ) is a German cameraman and director .
Life
König had first received a commercial training and then studied sociology before he came to film. As early as 1954, he acted as assistant director for the film Beloved Miss Doctor . He learned his trade as an assistant to experienced cameramen such as Günther Rittau , Göran Strindberg and Heinz Hölscher . In 1982 he also appeared as a director; in the sex film Katharina - The Naked Tsarina from the production of the porn producer Alois Brummer , which also produced a hardcore version, he hid behind the pseudonym "Scott Hunt". Seven years later, in summer / autumn 1989, König returned behind the camera for a movie with Katarina Witt in the ice dance film Carmen on Ice .
In his later years, König worked extensively for series television; until shortly after the turn of the millennium he photographed a castle on Lake Wörthersee , Derrick , Schloßhotel Orth and velvet and silk . Then King withdrew.
For his work on the concert recording Placido Domingo Celebrates Seville , Klaus König received an Emmy Award in 1983 .
