The Mount Frankland South National Park (English Mount Frankland South National Park) has the size of 423 km² and is located in the south of Western Australia , Australia .

The park is about 3 miles north of Walpole and 330 miles south of Perth . Together with the Mount Frankland , Walpole-Nornalup and D'Entrecasteaux National Park bordering in the north, south and west , it is part of the Walpole Wilderness Area . Most of the park was used for forestry from 1890, and the original old forest of Jarrah trees was cleared. Today there are mainly young populations in the park.

Some of the few large, old specimens of the carribree ( Eucalyptus diversicolor ) are in close proximity to the Swarbrick Visitor Center , one of three facilities that, as Walpole Wilderness Discovery Centers, explain the history and importance of this landscape to visitors. A simple campground can be found near Fernhook Falls near the South Western Highway 35 km north of Walpole. Especially in winter, the water of the Deep River flows here in huge rapids over the granite rocks into the Rowel Pools.
