The Badgingarra National Park (English: Badgingarra National Park ) is a national park in the southwest of the Australian state of Western Australia , 166 km north of Perth on the Brand Highway .

The park is 13,108 hectares and consists of high rock level land and low, sandy hill country. It is known for the variety of its wildflowers. The Mullering Brook runs through the national park and forms a swamp.

Most of the area is covered with low scrub, for example from the rare "Badgingarra Mallee" ( Eucalyptus pendens ), species of the genus " Kangaroo flowers " ( Anigozanthos ), the "Mottlecah" ( Eucalyptus macrocarpa ), the "Smokebush" (a Conospermum species), Banksien and Verticordia species. The area is affected by forest dieback.

Some of the notable plant species in the national park are Hakea flabellifolia and Strangea cynachicarpa .

fauna

Many animals such as gray kangaroos , emus , buzzards and wedge-tailed eagles can also be found in the park.
