The Mount Roe National Park (English Mount Roe National Park ) is with 1,277 km² the largest national park in the protected area of the Walpole Wilderness Area . It is located roughly in the middle between the three towns of Walpole , Denmark and Rocky Gully , in the south of Western Australia . In the west it borders on Mount Frankland North , in the east on Mount Lindesay National Park .

The park takes its name after the 319 m high Mount Roe, named after John Septimus Roe , the chief surveyor of Western Australia, who led numerous expeditions in the first half of the 19th century.

In the higher areas you can find a large part of the old stands of Jarrahwald in this region, in the lower areas bushes and heather vegetation dominate, crossed by a mosaic of small ditches and streams. The swamps and wetlands near Mount Soho are also particularly worthy of protection . Some of the 13 known populations of the critically endangered Sunset Frog (Spicospina) live here .
