The Mount Frankland North National Park (English Mount Frankland North National Park ) is a 221 km² national park in the south of Western Australia , Australia .
The park is about 25 km north of Walpole and 310 km south of Perth . Together with the Mount Frankland and Mount Roe National Park bordering in the south and west , it is part of the Walpole Wilderness Area . About 69 percent of the park consists of old stands of "Jarrah" ( Eucalyptus marginata ) and Karri forests ( Eucalyptus diversicolor ). The remaining 31 percent were used for forestry when the European immigrants began to settle in 1890, and the valuable, durable Jarrah wood was cleared. Today there are mainly young stocks.
