The Wandoo National Park (English: Wandoo National Park ) is about 90 kilometers northeast of Perth and about 30 kilometers southwest of Northam in Western Australia . The 444.81 km forested national park , in the terrain of which bare granite boulders emerge, is located between the Great Southern Highway and the Brookton Highway .
The national park is often visited by Perth residents for weekend recreation. The park is open for hiking and wildlife viewing. There are also possibilities for barbecues with wood. The picnic area is near Mount Observation .
