The village of Klausberg is located about three kilometers south-southeast of the center of Betzenstein and is at an altitude of 546 m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Stierberg , which also included the villages of Eckenreuth , Hetzendorf and Reipertsgesee , as well as the hamlets of Hunger , Münchs and Waiganz . In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Klausberg was incorporated into the town of Betzenstein on January 1, 1972, together with the entire Stierberg community. In 1987 Klausberg had 31 residents.

The connection to the public road network is made by three community roads, which connect the place with the state road St 2163 as well as Plech and over Eckenreuth with Betzenstein. It is possible to drive onto the federal motorway 9 at the Plech junction, located about three kilometers northeast of the village.
