Reipertsgesee is one of 23 officially named districts of the town of Betzenstein in Upper Franconia .

geography

The village is located about three kilometers southwest of Betzenstein and is at an altitude of 525 m above sea level. NHN .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Stierberg , which also included the villages of Eckenreuth , Hetzendorf and Klausberg , as well as the hamlets of Hunger , Münchs and Waiganz . In the course of the municipal territorial reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , Reipertsgesee was incorporated into the town of Betzenstein together with the entire municipality of Stierberg on January 1, 1972. In 1987 Reipertsgesee had 83 inhabitants.

traffic

The connection to the public road network is established by two communal roads, both of which flow into the BT 30 district road, which runs about 800 meters southeast of the town .
