Kostyantyn Wiktorowytsch Kasjantschuk ( Ukrainian Костянтин Вікторович Касянчук , Russian Константин Викторович Касянчук Konstantin Viktorovich Kasjantschuk * 24. October 1979 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian hockey player , who at since 2015 HK Neman Grodno in the Belarusian Extraliga plays.

Career

Kostjantyn Kasjantschuk, who comes from the youth department of HK Sokil Kiev , first played for his home club and HK Berkut Kiev in the East European Hockey League , which he won in 1999 with Sokil. He then moved to Russia, where he mainly played for the next decade and a half. He was in succession for Vitjas Podolsk , Chimik Voskressensk , with whom he rose from the Vysschaya League to the Super League in 2003 , the HK Traktor Chelyabinsk , with whom he also achieved this success in 2006, the HK Dynamo Moscow , the HK CSKA Moscow and the HK Buran Voronezh . From 2008 to 2014 he played a total of five seasons for the two Moscow teams and the team from Chelyabinsk more than 200 times in the Continental Hockey League , which he won in 2013 with Dynamo Moscow in a 4-2 series of finals against his ex-club Traktor Chelyabinsk was able to win and at the same time won the Russian championship title .

In the meantime he played again and again for his home club Sokil Kiev, with whom he played in both the Ukrainian ice hockey league and the Belarusian extra league. In 2005 he won the Ukrainian national championship with Sokil . In the 2011/12 season he was recognized as the most valuable player in the Professional Hockey League , as the highest Ukrainian league was called at the time. Kajantschuk has been under contract with HK Nyoman Hrodna in the Belarusian extra league since 2015 .

International

In the junior division Kasjantschuk played for the Ukraine at the U18-B-European championship 1996 and the U18-A-European championship 1997 as well as the U20-B-world championships 1997 , 1998 and 1999 .

For the men's selection , Kasjantschuk first took part in the 1999 World Cup. After switching to the current division system, he played at the World Championships in the top division in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2006 as well as the World Championships in Division I in 2008 and 2010 , when he was also voted the best striker of the tournament as the top scorer and top scorer , 2011 and 2012 .

He was also in his country's squad for the qualifying tournaments for the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002 , in Turin in 2006 , in Vancouver in 2010 and in Sochi in 2014 .
