history

In 1422 pastor Johann Kottner donated two farms in Krausenbechhofen as Wittum for the parish of Gremsdorf. In 1510, New Year's Eve von Schaumberg acquired some fiefs here. Nothing is known about their whereabouts. In 1621 there were 16 properties in the village. Four of them were uninhabited. The bishopric of Bamberg had nine properties as landlord , three properties were owned by Michelsberg Monastery . The rule of the village and community was disputed between the bishopric and the monastery.

At the end of the 18th century there were 15 properties in Krausenbechhofen. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center of Höchstadt . The village and community rulership was held by the caste office in Höchstadt . The landlords were the Bamberg monastery office in Gremsdorf (13 Sölden ) and the parish of Gremsdorf (2 half yards). There was also the shepherd's house, which was used by the entire community.

As part of the community edict, Krausenbechhofen was assigned to the Gremsdorf tax district formed in 1808 . In 1818 the rural community Gremsdorf was formed, to which the place belonged.
