The wasteland is around one kilometer east of Bad Grönenbach at an altitude of 689  m above sea level. NN , a little to the left of the MN 19 district road from Bad Grönenbach to Wolfertschwenden . The hamlet of Schulerloch borders in the north and Egg in the south on Kreuzbühl.

Kreuzbühl is located on gravel from the Würm Ice Age of the Pleistocene . The subsoil consists of gravel and sand .
