Stripe is a hamlet of the Kneipp spa Bad Grönenbach in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .

The hamlet is located about three kilometers east of Bad Grönenbach and about 500 meters north of the village of Ittelsburg at an altitude of 702  m above sea level. NN . In a clockwise direction, starting in the north, the strip borders on the municipality of Wolfertschwenden , the hamlet of Falken , the villages of Ittelsburg and Thal .

Stripe is on gravel from the Pleistocene Worm Ice Age . The subsoil consists of gravel and sand .

history

Stripe was first mentioned in 1370 when Hainer von Hattenberg took over rights from Walter von Swertfürbe. Memmingen citizens still had verifiable possessions in strips until 1566.
