Niederholz is a wasteland of the Bad Grönenbach Kneipp spa in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . It was created in 1738.

The wasteland is just under four kilometers southeast of Bad Grönenbach at an altitude of 726  m above sea level. NHN . Niederholz borders the village of Ittelsburg in the north and the hamlet Grasgrub and Eichholz in the south , both in the Oberallgäu district.

geology

Niederholz lies on a young moraine with terminal moraine lines from the Worm Ice Age of the Pleistocene . The subsoil partly contains gravel and gravel as well as sand , clay and silt .
