Schulerloch is a village in the Bad Grönenbach Kneipp spa in the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria .

The village is located about one kilometer northeast of Bad Grönenbach at an altitude of 673  m above sea level. NN . In a clockwise direction, starting in the north, Schulerloch borders the hamlet Raupolz , Kreuzbühl and Markt Bad Grönenbach.

geology

The Schulerloch area, east of the thoroughfare, is located on gravel of the lower terrace from the Worm Ice Age of the Pleistocene . The subsoil consists of gravel and sand . To the west of the street rises a high terrace from the crack ice age .

history

In the 17th century the Schulerloch must still have been forested, because it is reported that in 1625, the preacher Adolf Langhans carried out the Calvinist retreat "in the little wood called Schulerloch". This predicant was forcibly arrested in March 1626, also in Schulerloch, and brought to Liebenthann Castle . The aim of the imprisonment was to stop the Calvinist exercise.

Demonstration on July 14, 2019 in Schulerloch

On July 14, 2019, a demonstration by the V-Party³ took place in Bad Grönenbach with the aim of Schulerloch under the motto "Close the milk distress !" The peaceful event had around 800 participants. The background for the demonstration was a video published by Soko Tierschutz on July 8, 2019, which shows violations of animal welfare in a large farm with around 1,800 cows.
