Kristina Fríða Eyðbjørnsdóttir (born September 13, 1974 ; born Lervig ) is a former Faroese soccer player who was also used for the national team .
societies
Eyðbjørnsdóttir played in her career for various clubs on the island. She made her debut on the tenth day of the 1989 season at ÍF Fuglafjørður in a 10-1 home win against NSÍ Runavík , with Eyðbjørnsdóttir contributing two goals. In 1991 she was champion and top scorer in the first division with 18 goals. She then moved to the second division GÍ Gøta and also reached the championship there. After her old club ÍF relegated to the second division in the same year, she moved back there and again reached the championship and thus direct resurgence. However, in 1994, the following year, Eyðbjørnsdóttir only played two games. A year later she went to the second division LÍF Leirvík and took first place, which entitled to promotion. In the first division she was able to prove her scoring ability again. After taking a break in 1999, she was again under contract a year later at GÍ Gøta, but was not used here. She then went to HB Tórshavn in 2001 and moved to KÍ Klaksvík during the finals , with whom she was able to celebrate her second title in the first division. At that time, Rannvá Andreasen , Malena Josephsen , Annelisa Justesen , Bára Klakstein and Ragna Patawary were on the team. The cup final was lost on penalties against their old club HB Tórshavn. In the next year the revenge succeeded in the final with a 6-1 against HB, whereby Eyðbjørnsdóttir was not used in this game, in the league she did not play at all during the season. In 2003 she played for B68 Toftir , after that year she returned to KÍ and won the championship and cup double (15: 0 against EB / Streymur ). After another year break, she played one last time for KÍ in 2006 and won the double again alongside Randi Wardum , this time AB Argir was beaten 2-0 in the cup final .
European Cup
Eyðbjørnsdóttir played six times for KÍ Klaksvík in the UEFA Women's Cup , with no goal. She made her debut in 2001/02 in the preliminary round in a 2-1 win against USC Landhaus Wien . Their last game was the 7-0 loss to Espanyol Barcelona in the first round in 2006/07.
National team
She made her debut for the national team of the Faroe Islands on September 24, 1995 in the European Championship qualifier against Ireland in Toftir . The 0-2 was also the Faroe Islands' first official game. On June 8, 1996 she ran in the European Championship qualifier against Wales in the 0-1 defeat in Toftir for the seventh and last time for the national team.
