State government stool

The state government of Schemel under Governor Adolf Schemel was the first Salzburg state government after the Second World War . The American occupation forces proposed Schemel as governor. He was officially confirmed in this office on May 23, 1945 and held it until the first elected state parliament met on December 12, 1945.
