The state government of Hochleitner under Governor Albert Hochleitner was the second Salzburg state government after the Second World War . Hochleitner was elected governor on December 12, 1945 by the Salzburg state parliament. Albert Hochleitner was Governor of Salzburg until December 4, 1947 . He resigned because of alleged irregularities in a citizenship award, his successor was Josef Rehrl , the brother of the long-time governor of the pre-war period Franz Rehrl .
