The Provincial Government Haslauer II was Salzburg Provincial Government in the 8th legislative period . She held office from May 16, 1979 until the election of the successor government Haslauer III on May 16, 1984. Governor was Wilfried Haslauer senior .
In the 1979 state elections , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) lost its fourth seat in government , which it had only gained in 1974 , to the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ), which again had three seats in the state government. The Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) continued to provide a member of the government.
