State government Burgstaller I

The state government Burgstaller was after the state election in Salzburg in 2004 from 2004 to 2009, the Salzburg Provincial Government under Governor Mrs. Gabi Burgstaller . The members of the state government were sworn in by the Salzburg state parliament on April 28, 2004. Burgstaller was the first woman and representative of the SPÖ to take on this role. The provincial government of Burgstaller I was in office until the successor government of Burgstaller II was sworn in.

After Regional Councilor Erwin Buchinger (SPÖ) moved to the Gusenbauer government , he was replaced by Regional Councilor Erika Scharer . The inauguration by the state parliament took place on February 7, 2007. David Brenner was sworn in as the successor to Othmar Raus on December 13, 2007.
