District Court of Dorfen

The District Court of Dorfen was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1858 to 1879 and was based in Dorfen in today's Erding district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

As early as the 13th century, nursing courts existed in Erding and Dorfen (also often referred to as regional courts at that time) of the Duchy of Bavaria , which, like the neighboring regional court of Moosburg, had been assigned to the Landshut Rent Office from the 16th century . In 1803, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Erding District Court was established, whose jurisdiction also included the areas of the former Dorfen Care Court. From 1808 it belonged to the Isar district and from 1838 to the district of Upper Bavaria. The Erding District Court was split up in 1858. The district court of Dorfen was formed from 19 communities in the east of the district court, and that includes the communities of Dorfen , Eibach , Gebensbach , Grüntegernbach , Hausmehring , Hofkirchen , Hofstarring , Hohenpolding , Hubenstein , Inning am Holz , Lengdorf , Moosen (Vils) , Steinkirchen , Sulding , Taufkirchen (Vils) , Wambach , Wasentegernbach , Watzling and Zeilhofen . The superior instance was the Munich Court of Appeal .

The Erding District Office was formed in 1862 through the merger of the Erding Regional Court with the newly formed Dorfen Regional Court.
