District Court Dorfen

The District Court of Dorfen was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in Dorfen .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in the city of Dorfen, the district of which was congruent with the previous district court district of Dorfen and consequently the communities of Dorfen, Eibach , Gebensbach , Grüntegernbach , Hausmehring , Hofkirchen , Hofstarring , Hohenpolding , Hubenstein , Inning am Holz , Lengdorf , Moosen (Vils) , Steinkirchen , Sulding , Taufkirchen (Vils) , Wambach , Wasentegernbach , Watzling and Zeilhofen . The superordinate instances were the Regional Court Munich II and the Higher Regional Court Munich . As a result of the war-related emergency measures, the Dorfen District Court was downgraded to a branch of the Erding District Court . After this was officially confirmed again in 1956, the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice ordered the closure of this branch on July 1, 1959.
