Starnberg District Court

The Starnberg District Court is one of 73 district courts in Bavaria and a court of ordinary jurisdiction based in the city of Starnberg .

Area of ​​responsibility and instance

The Starnberg District Court is responsible for the entire Starnberg district . The district court of Munich is responsible for the register of cooperatives, trade, partnerships and associations, while the district court of Weilheim in Upper Bavaria is responsible for insolvency proceedings and foreclosures .

Superordinate instances are in turn the Regional Court of Munich II , the Higher Regional Court of Munich and the Federal Court of Justice .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Starnberg District Court was established, the district of which was formed from the previous Starnberg District Court and consequently the municipalities of Argelsried , Aschering , Berg , Breitbrunn am Ammersee , Buch am Ammersee , Buchendorf , Drößling , Erling , Etterschlag , Feldafing , Frieding , Gauting , Gilching , Hadorf , Hanfeld , Hechendorf am Pilsensee , Herrsching am Ammersee , Hochstadt , Inning am Ammersee , Kempfenhausen , Krailling , Leutstetten , Machtlfing , Mailing , Meiling , Oberaltising , Oberbrunn , Oberpfaffenhofen , Percha , Perchting , Pöcking , Söcking , Starnberg, Steinebach am Wörthsee , Traubing , Tutzing , Unering , Unterbrunn , Weßling and Widdersberg included.

The enactment of the law on the organization of the ordinary courts in Bavaria (GerOrgG) on 1 July 1973 of the district of Starnberg was previously the district court district Starnberg to the so far for about a year similar to the magnification District Court Wolfratshausen belonging places Bachhausen and Hoehenrain expanded.
