Weismain District Court

The district court of Weismain was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Weismain in what is now the district of Lichtenfels . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1803, the Weismain Regional Court was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this was added to the Mainkreis , whose capital was Bamberg .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Weismain District Court was established, the district of which was composed of the communities of the previous Weismain District Court district: Altenkunstadt , Arnstein , Burgkunstadt , Burkersdorf , Burkheim , Ebneth , Gärtenroth , Geutenreuth , Großziegenfeld , Hain , Kaspauer , Kirchlein , Kleinziegenfeld , Maineck , Mainroth , Modschiedel , Neudorf , Pfaffendorf , Strössendorf , Theisau , Wallersberg , Weiden , Weidnitz , Weismain and Wildenberg .
