The state election in Styria in 1923 was held on October 21, 1923 and was the second state election in Styria after the end of the First World War .
The political balance of power hardly changed. The Christian Social Party (CSP) was able to achieve 45.77% and subsequently provided 34 of the 70 members of the state parliament. One of their previous seats, like one from the Landbund, now went to the Greater German People's Party . Second place went to the Social Democratic Workers' Party of German Austria (SDAPDÖ), which achieved 34.72% and 24 seats.
The Landbund that emerged from the “Styrian Peasant Party” (SBP) achieved 8 seats with 11.34%. The Greater German People's Party, made up of various German-free groups, became the fourth largest force in the state parliament with 7.62% and 4 seats. The Communists who stood for the first time only received 0.55% of the vote and were unable to enter the state parliament.
The MPs again elected Anton Rintelen (CS) as governor.
