Les Tourailles is a village and a former French commune with 59 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Orne department in the Normandy region . It belonged to the canton of Athis-de-l'Orne and the Arrondissement of Argentan .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous communes of Athis-de-l'Orne , Bréel , La Carneille , Notre-Dame-du-Rocher , Ronfeugerai , Ségrie-Fontaine , Taillebois and Les Tourailles became a nouvelle commune with the name Athis -Val de Rouvre and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Athis-de-l'Orne.

The area of the former municipality, which extended over an area of 2.46 km², is traversed by the Rouvre . Neighboring municipalities of Les Tourailles were La Carneille in the north, Sainte-Honorine-la-Guillaume in the northeast, Craménil in the east, Sainte-Opportune in the south and Durcet in the west until 2016 .
Culture and sights
Hundreds of people make a pilgrimage to the local church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Recouvrance every year to venerate St. Mary .
The castle of Les Tourailles is located on a plateau above the Rouvre valley. Originally it dates from the 16th century, but burned several times and was rebuilt and expanded several times.
