The 2018/19 Lebanese Premier League was the 59th season of the Lebanese top soccer league since its inception in 1933. The season began on September 21, 2018 with the opening game Shabab al-Ghazieh against Tadamon Sur Club and ended on April 21, 2019. The defending champion was al Ahed .

The clubs played a double round-robin tournament , which resulted in a total of 22 games per team. The game was played according to the 3-point rule (three points per win, one point per tie). The table was determined according to the following criteria:
- Number of points scored
- Goal difference from all games
- Number of goals in all games
- Number of points scored in direct comparison
- Number of points scored in direct comparison
- Goal difference in direct comparison
At the end of the season, the team with the highest points qualified for the group stage of the AFC Cup 2020 . The Lebanese FA Cup winner will take part in the play-off round of the AFC Cup. However, if he already qualifies through the league, the second in the league takes his place in the play-offs.
The two clubs with the fewest points were relegated to the second-rate Lebanese Second Division .

Shabab al-Sahel and Shabab al-Ghazieh were promoted to the Lebanese Premier League as champions and runner-up in the Lebanese Second Division in 2017/18.
The two newly promoted clubs replace the two last-placed clubs in the 2017/18 season , al-Shabab al-Arabi and al Islah . Both clubs had to return to the Lebanese Second Division after just one year in the Lebanese Premier League.
