Lidija Artjomowna Jakowlewa ( Russian Лидия Артёмовна Яковлева ; born August 14, 2001 in Kirov ) is a Russian ski jumper .
Career
Lidija Jakowlewa began her career by making her debut in the Continental Cup in Lahti on February 15 and 16, 2014, when she took part in the competition for the first time , finishing in 17th and 16th place. It wasn't until over a year and a half later that she started at two other competitions in Notodden . On September 10 and 11, 2016, Yakovleva competed in Tchaikovsky for the first time in the Summer Grand Prix and reached places 38 and 36. Then she accepted on December 15, 2016, also in Notodden, for the first and so far only time took part in an FIS Cup competition, in which she took 20th place.
In February 2017, Jakowlewa started at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2017 in Erzurum, Turkey, and took fifth place in the individual competition.
On September 16, 2017, she finally achieved a podium finish in the Continental Cup for the first time with a second place in Trondheim . At the 2018 Junior World Championships she won the silver medal with the Russian team. On March 24, 2018, she made her debut in Oberstdorf in the World Cup, but narrowly missed the points as 31st.
At the end of the 2017/18 season , she won the Winter Continental Cup and the overall standings with 415 points.
On December 1, 2018, as part of the Lillehammer Triple 2018, she surprisingly achieved her first World Cup victory in her fourth World Cup start ahead of Maren Lundby and Ema Klinec , after she jumped into the points for the first time in eighth place the day before.
At the 2019 Junior World Championships in Lahti , Jakowlewa won the gold medal in the team competition on the normal hill together with Marija Jakowlewa , Alexandra Baranzewa and Anna Schpynjowa in front of Germany and Austria, as well as in the mixed team competition with Michail Purtow , Anna Schpynjowa and Maxim Sergejew . In the individual competition she won the silver medal behind Anna Schpynjowa and in front of Lara Malsiner . In February Jakowlewa competed for the first time at a Nordic World Ski Championships and finished 21st in Seefeld . Together with Anna Schpynjowa, Alexandra Kustowa and Sofija Tichonowa , she finished fifth in the first team competition the day before.
At the Russian championships in mid-February 2020, Yakovleva won the championship title on the normal hill in Nizhny Tagil .
