Liga Mayor del Distrito Federal 1934/35
The 1934/35 season was the fourth season of the Liga Mayor del Distrito Federal , which had this name since 1931, as well as - taking into account that the competition was prematurely terminated in the 1930/31 season and is therefore not to be regarded as a regular league competition like the anniversary tournament Centenario 1921 - the 32nd season of the soccer league introduced in Mexico, which initially operated under the name Primera Fuerza . While the competition was originally open to teams from all parts of the country, in the 20 years from 1920 to 1940 it was limited to clubs from Mexico City .
Champion was the second time since 1933 the club Necaxa with a lead of 11 (!) Points to the runner-up Club America . Of their 15 encounters, the Once Hermanos won 13 games and gave up their only points in the 2-2 defeat against CF Asturias and the 3-0 defeat against Real Club España . The squad of the Necaxistas championship team included the following players (in alphabetical order): Ignacio "Calavera" Ávila , "Toño" Azpiri , Lorenzo "Yegua" Camarena , Raúl "Pipiolo" Estrada (goalkeeper), "Chamaco" García , Hilario "Moco" López , Julio Lores , Tomás "Poeta" Lozano , Guillermo "Perro" Ortega , Luis "Pichojos" Pérez and Ignacio "Nacho" Trelles , who became the most successful Mexican soccer coach after his active career . The coach of the championship team was Austrian Ernst Pauler , who two years earlier had won the championship title with Necaxa as an active player in the position of goalkeeper.

These were the future champions Necaxa ( Parque Necaxa ) as well as the " Spanish rivals " Asturias (Campo Asturias) and España ( Parque España de la Verónica ), although the home right was not always actually played in the own stadium.
