doping
On April 29, 2014, it became known that the Russian Athletics Association had suspended Lilija Schobuchowa for two years for doping. Suspicious values that indicate blood doping were found in the athlete's biological passport. The penalty took effect retrospectively on January 24, 2013. All of Shobukhova's titles and records since October 9, 2009 have been stripped of the Russian. In the ARD documentary Secret Matter Doping by Hajo Seppelt , she explained at the end of 2014 that her blood values were known to the Russian Federation as early as 2012 and that she bought the start at the Olympic Games in London with 450,000 euros. On March 6, 2015, her suspension, which had expired in January, was increased by 14 months by the International Court of Justice , which the IAAF had appealed to. In July 2015, WADA shortened the suspension by seven months to August 23, 2015 because of her collaboration, which may lead to the detection and investigation of anti-doping violations by others, including athlete support staff.
