Limbach (1927 to 1957 Slovak Hliník ; Hungarian Limpak - until 1907 Limbach ) is a municipality in western Slovakia with 2254 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).
geography
The municipality is located in the Little Carpathians about 4 km from Pezinok and 21 km from Bratislava .
history
Limbach was first mentioned in writing in 1390. In the 14th century, Germans settled in the village and made up the majority of the population until the end of World War II .
