The Limeswanderweg (= Limesweg) in the Westerwald and Taunus is a 126-kilometer long- distance hiking trail from Rheinbrohl to Bad Ems and from Bad Ems to Lindschied . The signpost is a white Roman tower on a black square in the Westerwald, and a black tower on a white square in the Taunus. Since 2011, a black tower on a white square has also been used in the Westerwald. The Westerwald-Verein and Taunusklub are among others responsible for maintaining the path .

The path is the northernmost of a whole series of Limes hiking trails which, as the German Limes Hiking Trail, open up the Upper German-Rhaetian Limes to hikers in full.
