- Eisenmann was initially director of the agricultural office and from 1958 to 1969 district administrator of the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district. He was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for 37 years and was Bavarian State Minister for Agriculture and Forests from 1969 until his death. In grateful recognition of his extraordinary services, he was made an honorary citizen on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
