Residential and commercial building | The master carpenter Hermann Carlitschek built the corner building facing Goldmannpark in 1894/1895. The sloping corner of the building, designed as a Berlin corner , is emphasized by two-storey bay windows and an octagonal tower with a tail hood and lantern . In 1914 the building was increased by one floor. The facade is decorated with a risalit and a round arched portal, above which an allegorical figure stands in niches , symbols of trade and architecture. In the GDR era, the Berliner Volksbank was the main user of the house. | |
