Grave site of Helmut Kraatz [and his wife (Anna) Maria Kraatz] in the cemetery of the Ev. St. Petri Luisenstadt parish with a sculpture by Achim Kühn The metal sculpture from 1983 by Achim Kühn for the grave of the doctor Helmut Kraatz is called Die Ehe (also the bond between woman and man ) and was first made for the grave of Helmut Kraatz at Georgen-Parochialfriedhof 2 and installed there. The current location in the middle of the main path from Friedenstrasse on the St. Petri Luisenstadt cemetery was re-selected in the 1990s after the damaged plastic was repaired. It is believed that a fountain previously stood at this point. The stone lying in front of the sculpture bears the inscription: “Professor Helmut Kraatz (1902–1983); Maria Kraatz (1918–1972). In memory of the great Berlin doctor and teacher. Friends and students. "
