In 1994, the Cöpenick City Theater , which was founded in 1992 and dates back to 1889, was housed in this former factory . The tabloid theater played here until the end of June 2016, but has now to move out due to lack of money. The Kiezclub in Wendenschloss and the Adlershof Theater are planned as new venues for the cultural institution, which is operated by the Kunstfabrik Köpenick GmH .

Architecture is assigned to a mix of styles of neoclassicism and expressionism . In the settlement is the memorial stone mentioned here for the people murdered by the SA in the Köpenick Blood Week in 1933 .
