Distribution of seats during the 2nd legislative period

This list gives an overview of the members of the Saarland Landtag in the 2nd electoral period (1952–1955). The second state parliament was constituted on December 15, 1952. After the Saar Statute was rejected in October 1955, it was prematurely dissolved.

After the election of November 30, 1952 , the 50 mandates of the Landtag were composed as follows:

The Communist Party (KP) was able to move into the state parliament with four seats, but the CVP and SPS decided to increase the minimum parliamentary group size to 10% (five seats), whereby the KP was not given parliamentary group status.
