List of members of the Saarland Landtag (8th electoral term)
The Saarland Landtag for the eighth legislative period was elected for five years on April 27, 1980 . It had 51 seats, 23 of which belonged to the CDU and four to the FDP . The SPD had 24 seats until December 1984, when MP Peter Lindner left the parliamentary group; he belonged to the state parliament until the end of the electoral term as a non-attached member .
