List of natural monuments in the Eferding district

The list of natural monuments in the Eferding district lists the objects designated as natural monuments in the Eferding district in the federal state of Upper Austria . Among the six natural monuments are almost exclusively trees, including an oak trees -pair, two freestanding oaks and two Summer Linden . In addition, a population of water lilies on the Aschach river has been placed under protection. The oldest existing protected status in the Eferding district took place in 1960, the last in 2007.

The pedunculate oak is located next to a local road near the furnace water. At the time it was placed under protection, the oak had a trunk circumference of 4.10 m at a height of one meter, a crown diameter of 24 m and a height of around 30 m. The oak branches out into numerous main branches in around 10 m and serves as an approach destination for numerous birds. October 24, 2000

The two protected pedunculate oaks are located on the banks of the Innbach in the Fraham community at the rear of the Raffeldsmühle. In 2003, the trunk diameter of the two English oaks at a height of one meter was 3.70 and 4.40 meters, the crown diameter was 17 and 18 meters and the height was 25 to 27 meters. The age of the oaks is estimated to be 250 years. 11/27/2003

The summer lime tree is located around 50 m north of the Linderhof near a chapel. At the time it was placed under protection, the linden tree had a trunk circumference of 3.55 m at a height of one meter, a crown diameter of 15 m and a height of around 28 m. The linden tree, which, according to the owner, was planted in the course of the construction of the chapel in 1880, has a formative influence on the landscape of the southwestern district of Haibach due to its location on the upper slope edge of the Danube valley. The protected summer linden tree is located in the area between the forester's house and the fore of the Schaunberg castle ruins . In 1960 the linden tree had a chest height of 5.5 meters, a trunk height of 25 meters and a crown width of around 30 meters. According to tradition, it was planted in 1402 and served as a judicial linden tree under King Wenceslaus . 03/08/1960

The water lily stocks on the Aschachaltarm near Pupping are located in the dammed up river area of ​​the Aschach around 2.5 km north of Eferding. They extend from the weir system of the Leumühle about 800 m upstream to the bridge of a local road. 06/19/1978

The summer linden tree was about 400 m northeast of the church of Stroheim. The tree, visible from afar due to its location, was planted in 1847 and had a trunk circumference of 3.4 m.
