List of natural monuments in the Steyr-Land district
The list of natural monuments in the Steyr-Land district lists the objects designated as natural monuments in the Steyr-Land district in the state of Upper Austria . Of the 28 natural monuments, 14 protected objects are trees or groups of trees, eight natural monuments are protected rock formations, and two natural monuments each concern protected embankments, caves and stretches of water. The trees and groups of trees designated as natural monuments include various native species, six natural monuments including summer linden ( Tilia platyphyllos ), four winter linden ( Tilia cordata ) and one natural monument containing indefinite linden trees. Spatially, the natural monuments are spread across the communities of Laussa and Weyer , where there are six natural monuments each. There are also four natural monuments in Garsten and Ternberg . The majority of the natural monuments were declared natural monuments in the mid-1980s to the early 1990s.

At the time it was placed under protection, it had a circumference of 6.9 m (at a height of one meter), a crown diameter of 23 m and a height of around 28 m. Granite rock group "Leopold von Buch Monument" | nd100 |

The granite rock group " Leopold von Buch Monument" consists of a granodiorite that is foreign to the limestone Alps and the Flysch sandstone zone. Researchers found that it is a 360 million year old solid rock from the Earth's mantle that originates from so-called hotspots and migrated through the Pennine Ocean about 40 to 50 million years ago . In addition to the geological monument, the natural monument is also a botanical rarity: there are over 100 different types of moss on the granite blocks , 13 of which are on the red list . | 05.10.1977 | ||

The Langenstein Wall is a rock formation made of cellular-porous dolomites and limestone. The so-called Rauhwackefelsen reach a height of up to 20 m, a width of up to 50 m and a length of around 200 m. The sticks of the common ivy ( Hedera helix ), which grew up on the north and south sides of the parish church of St. Ulrich bei Steyr, reached a diameter of about 25 cm at ground level.
