Deanery Großweikersdorf

The deanery comprises 18 parishes in the Weinviertel in northern Lower Austria with around 12,000 Catholics.

On November 29, 2015, development areas were defined for all parishes in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The parishes should work more closely together in the development areas, form parish associations or pastoral care rooms. At the end of the process, new parishes should emerge from the development areas. The following development rooms have been defined in the Großweikersdorf dean's office:

• Fahndorf, Gettsdorf, Glaubendorf, Großmeiseldorf, Radlbrunn, Rohrbach and Ziersdorf
• Absdorf, Bierbaum am Kleebühel, Königsbrunn am Wagram, Neuaigen and Stetteldorf am Wagram
