List of stumbling blocks in Alsleben (Saale)

The list of stumbling blocks in Alsleben (Saale) contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Alsleben (Saale) as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Alsleben (Saale). In the only laying campaign to date, two stones were laid at one address on December 1, 2017.

01st December 2017 Anna Rosenberg born Pint (h) us (1865-1942)

Anna Rosenberg came from Seehausen (Altmark) . She was married to Herman Rosenberg and had two sons named Fritz and Georg and a daughter named Minna with him. The family had been running a clothing store in Alsleben since 1882. The two sons died in the First World War ; Herman Rosenberg died in 1932. In 1938 the family's business was expropriated. On June 25, 1942 Anna Rosenberg had to leave Alsleben and move to a Jewish old people's home in Halle (Saale) . From there she was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto on September 19, 1942 , where she died on October 30, 1942.

Minna Rosenberg (1884–1942)

Minna Rosenberg was born in Alsleben. She remained unmarried and worked in the family business. From Halle (Saale) she was deported to the Sobibor extermination camp on June 1, 1942, where she was murdered two days later immediately after her arrival.
