List of stumbling blocks in Coswig (Anhalt)
The list of stumbling blocks in Coswig (Anhalt) contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Coswig (Anhalt) as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Coswig. The first three stones were laid in the villages of Buko and Zieko in 2009 , and another five followed in 2013 in the core town of Coswig. The five stumbling blocks in memory of the Rheinhold family were stolen in mid-November 2018. In March 2019 they were relocated in the same place.

Heinz Rheinhold was born in Celle . He was born with Eva Rheinhold. Rüdenberg married and had three children with her. He was arrested in 1938 for racial disgrace and sentenced to prison in Coswig prison. In 1942 he was deported to occupied Poland. His further fate is unknown. |

Friedrich Menke came from Oldenburg . He studied Protestant theology in Halle (Saale) and Göttingen . In 1935 he passed the first theological exam, worked as an assistant preacher in Gernrode and married. In 1938 he took up a position as a parish administrator in Buko. Since he, as a member of the Confessing Church and a staunch opponent of National Socialism, refused to join the German Christians , he was temporarily arrested in 1938 and had to leave Buko again on October 1, 1939 and take up a position as a parish administrator in Roßbach , where he was merely an assistant preacher was employed and lived in a shabby rectory. The pressure from the rulers broke his mind and committed suicide on December 4, 1939. |

Charlotte Lehmann came from Apollensdorf and attended elementary school in Zieko as the foster child of her uncle and aunt. Together with her neighbor Fritz Puhlmann, she tried on April 29, 1945 to surrender Zieko to the US Army without a fight by running towards the troops with a white flag. They were shot in an ambush by SS members. They both died from their injuries on the night of April 30th. |

Fritz Puhlmann came from Zieko. Together with his neighbor Charlotte Lehmann, he tried on April 29, 1945 to achieve a surrender of Zieko to the US Army without a fight by running towards the troops with a white flag. They were shot in an ambush by SS members. They both died from their injuries on the night of April 30th. |
