Max Bluhm was born in Groß Siebsau as the youngest of twelve siblings. In the First World War he served as a soldier. After the war, his hometown in West Prussia fell to Poland . He therefore moved with his wife Lotte Minna first to Berlin , later to Halle (Saale) and finally to Klostermansfeld. There he opened a clothing and shoe store. As early as 1933 he suffered from a first boycott. During the November pogroms in 1938, the shop was looted and eventually had to be closed. From 1940 Max Bluhm was used for forced labor in Halle. On April 11, 1942, he and his wife received notification that their deportation was imminent. On June 1, they were taken from Halle to the Sobibor extermination camp , where they were murdered two days later on arrival. |

Lotte Minna Bluhm came from Zempelburg and worked in the family business in Klostermansfeld. Since her marriage to Max Bluhm was childless, it is likely that she also had to do forced labor. On June 1, she was taken from Halle to the Sobibor extermination camp, where she was murdered two days later on arrival. |
