List of stumbling blocks in Jessen (Elster)
The list of stumbling blocks in Jessen (Elster) contains all stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Jessen (Elster) as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Jessen. In the only relocation to date, a stone was relocated at an address on March 20, 2017.

Walter Simson came from Danzig and worked in Jessen as a lawyer and notary . He was of Jewish descent but converted to Catholicism . After the National Socialists came to power , he was subjected to reprisals that drove him to suicide in 1935. |
