List of stumbling blocks in Salzwedel

The list of stumbling blocks in Salzwedel contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Salzwedel as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Salzwedel. In the only move to date, a total of 16 stones were moved to five addresses on June 26, 2010.

Tobias Bachenheimer was born in Marburg . He was arrested on November 10, 1938 and temporarily interned in Sachsenhausen concentration camp . He was deported to the Warsaw Ghetto via Magdeburg, Potsdam and Berlin , where he arrived on April 14, 1942. He was later murdered in the Treblinka concentration camp .

Betty Bachenheimer came from Laisa . She was deported to the Warsaw Ghetto via Magdeburg, Potsdam and Berlin, where she arrived on April 14, 1942. She was later murdered in the Treblinka concentration camp.

David Hirsch was born in Thorn. He was arrested on November 10, 1938 and temporarily interned in the Buchenwald concentration camp. On April 13, 1942, he was deported to the Warsaw Ghetto, where he was later murdered.
