The local chapel in Alt-Dietmanns was built on the hilltop at the square in 1801. The baroque building with faced round arched windows and a retracted semicircular apse , summarized by a cornice , has a facade tower covered by a triangular gable under a bell helmet between the gable slopes . The spacious transverse yoke with belt arches on wall pillars and cut plaster structure is vaulted inside . The front yoke with gallery is barrel vaulted . The niche figures to the side of the apse arch represent Mary and Joseph . The shape of the altar follows the curvature of the apse. The marbled pillar pedicle with round gable dates from the beginning of the 19th century, the altar panel with a picture of the Holy Family from 1893. Other furnishings include figures of Saints Florian and Sebastian . |

Bründl Church for the Immaculate Conception ObjectID: 1863 |

The so-called Bründlkirche for the Immaculate Conception west of Dietmanns on the road to Waidhofen an der Thaya on a hill in the forest is the choir of an unfinished pilgrimage church . A picture of Mary on a tree near Bründl was the destination of pilgrimages in the 18th century, despite the ban in 1785 . In 1865 a Marterl was built at the source and a presbytery above it from 1888–1902. The neo-Gothic , two-bay choir building with five -eighth end made of unplastered quarry stone masonry with buttresses and tracery windows is accessible in the west through a portal with tracery oculus . It has baroque console figures of Maria Immaculata and Saint Joseph , a three-pass lancet window in the gable , a tile gable roof with a turret and a stair tower on the south side. Inside, with nose-shaped contrasting ribbed vault on consoles and neo-Gothic Schablonenausmalungen are stained-glass windows from the construction period, a neo-Gothic altarpiece with shrine figures of the Virgin Mary, Joachim and Anna , in conversation narrow an image of the Sacred Heart , wings reliefs of Marienlebens and other sacred images. |
