From 1894 to 1921 the embassy was located in the palace of the Friedrich Meyer banking family at Vossstraße 16 . From 1921 to 1940 it was located in a villa at Rauchstraße  10. This was connected to the building of the Norwegian embassy opposite by a double arcade, which was also used as a driveway for motor vehicles. The villa at Rauchstrasse 10 was destroyed in the Second World War, the double arcade was torn down and the property was sold in 1957. From 1951 to 1964 the Dutch ambassador resided in the Dietkirchener Hof in Urfeld . From 1964 to 2000, the Royal Dutch Embassy was located in Bonn on Sträßchensweg.
