List of Polish ambassadors in Germany

The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland heads the Polish Embassy in Germany . It was based in Berlin until 1945 ; as a result of the division of Germany, there were two diplomatic representatives from this country between 1949 and 1990. The ambassador active in the GDR worked in East Berlin on Berliner Strasse in the Pankow district , and from 1967 in a new building on Unter den Linden . The ambassador accredited for the FRG was based in Cologne .
